Typically installed to cover exterior pipework, such as gas supply pipes and low carbon distributed heating system pipes, UK Boxings’ tough metal pipe boxing is also used to conceal pipework and systems associated with ground source or air source heat pumps.

Bespoke manufactured to the requirements of each individual project from corrosion resistant 2mm thick aluminium, they also incorporate a PPC finish, which can be selected from a wide range of BS and RAL colours to contrast or blend in with the surroundings.

In addition to external applications, metal boxing is also used on interior social housing projects, where fire sprinklers are installed, to conceal runs of pipework where there are no sprinkler heads. As the boxing is non-combustible, it can aid compliance with fire safety requirements.

Durable and weather resistant, our metal pipe boxing not only conceals and protects, but also helps improve the finish of completed projects while offering a choice of fixing methods for extra versatility, including concealed angle brackets or an integral flange option.

With either system, the ‘U’ shaped channel profiles can be readily secured to external walls, while access panels and lockable doors can be incorporated to provide a simple solution for inspection and maintenance, while retaining security.
