Nationwide Windows & Doors Busy With Social Housing Landlords Across the UK

As the leading fenestration partner for new build and refurbishment projects in public sector housing, Nationwide Windows & Doors has been hitting record manufacturing and installation output, thanks to many large and diverse contracts across the UK. Here’s a snap shot:

Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council: Replacement of Fire Door Sets
Now six months into this three-year, £1.2 million project, the team has been busy on the manufacture, delivery and installation of fire doors to the council’s housing stock across the borough which, on the doorstep of Nationwide’s 7-acre facility in Rugby, has a population of just over 120,000.

Nationwide Windows & Doors Busy With Social Housing Landlords Across the UK

With fire safety top of the built environment agenda, Nuneaton & Bedworth chose Nationwide Windows & Doors because they recognised that there are several critical processes from point of fire door specification to manufacture to installation. Some companies are only approved to manufacture the doors, leaving the vital installation process to others. This is not the case with Nationwide Windows & Doors who have vertically integrated status as third party accredited Q-Mark approved manufacturers and installers of fire doors.

Sovereign Housing: Manufacture and Installation of PVC-U Windows and Patio Doors
Sovereign Housing is one of the largest social housing landlords in the country and a major provider of affordable housing across the south and south-west of England, Oxfordshire and The Borders and North and South Hampshire. It owns and manages 55,000 homes and offers services to more than 88,000 residents.
Nationwide Windows & Doors’ significant £14million, 4-year contract will see the company manufacture, survey, supply and install PVC-U window and patio door units and associated fittings in support of new build contracts, annual refurbishment programmes and response maintenance services. The contract which has just hit its 12-month milestone has provided Nationwide with the opportunity to invest further in the region, and the company has just opened a new 4,000 ft2 Swindon depot with an investment totalling £187,000, the creation of 32 jobs and 14 installation teams.

Eastern Procurement: Window, Door and Roofline Products Framework
With innovative specification and buying organisations coming to the fore, recent times have seen a rise in professional contract management services. Eastern Procurement is such an innovator as a not-for-profit organisation offering specialist OJEU compliant framework agreements to 20 local authorities and social landlords. Nationwide Windows & Doors was delighted to surpass the stringent requirement to achieve framework status back in October 2017.
The contract with a total value of £32million over a four-year period, will see us survey, manufacture and install windows, doors and roofline products to the homes of twenty Eastern Procurement social housing landlords across Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Lincolnshire.
