Leading British ventilation manufacturer Vent-Axia impressed the judges at this year’s HVR Awards with its groundbreaking innovation. The Sussex-based company scooped an award for its Lo-Carbon Sentinel Econiq Cool-Flow within the ‘Domestic Ventilation Product of the Year’ category at the HVR Awards 2024. Designed to help housebuilders manage overheating in new homes, the Lo-Carbon Sentinel Econiq Cool-Flow is Vent-Axia’s latest flagship mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) system combined with its intelligent Econiq Cool-Flow Module.

Shelforce receives royal seal of excellence with King’s Award for Enterprise

Birmingham-based window and door manufacturer Shelforce has been recognised with the highest official UK award for British business, The King’s Award for Enterprise in Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility).
Established in 1965, the awards have propelled UK businesses onto the world stage with an internationally-renowned symbol of excellence. Previously named The Queen’s Award for Enterprise, His Majesty The King has approved the Prime Minister’s recommendation that Shelforce be recognised.
Win for Shelforce at inaugural housing awards

Window and door manufacturer Shelforce won the ‘Most Significant Service Improvement’ award at the first ever Housing Awards.
City Housing, part of Birmingham City Council, launched the awards as part of its commitment to culture change and to acknowledge the hard work, successes and achievements of staff and businesses involved in social housing in Birmingham.
